The Human Touch to Care

At Sefam, we believe that caring for patients is above all a matter of human skills and expertise, delivered through healthcare professionals.

We are committed to providing quality care in the most efficient way possible. We do this by creating products to support healthcare professionals in their daily work and make them more effective at what they do best: caring for patients.

At Sefam, we believe that each patient should be treated as an individual who needs to be given specific and personalised treatment. Our doctors and healthcare professionals have shown us the importance of involving the patients and helping them to play an active role in their treatment.

Through interviews with patients, we have learned that patients have a strong trust in their clinicians, and they relate well to them. Doctors and other specialist clinicians are essential for making accurate diagnoses and prescribing suitable therapies. They are also best positioned to help patients achieve the best possible treatment outcomes.

We believe that manufacturers also play a key role in the healthcare system, and we want to provide personalised solutions that meet the needs of both patients and healthcare providers.

Doctor and Patient

Our mission is to create medical devices that are reassuring, discreet, and less intimidating for our patients. We want patients to look at their care providers as partners in their healthcare journey.

Our design philosophy is simple: we believe that by creating devices with carefully-developed ergonomic designs that are very simple to use, we can make medical devices look less intimidating.

Service With a Human Touch

We want to develop practical and easy-to-use tools to help patients interact with their health care providers and share real-time information regarding the efficacy of their CPAP therapy, to support and provide motivation and confidence in their treatment.

New communication technologies and smart devices are creating new opportunities in this area.

One of the key challenges we face is how to empower patients to take an active role in their own healthcare to become experts in their self-management so that they can have a more

positive experience and better outcomes.

Patients should be able to manage their care in a way that works best for them, in a way that makes sense for their health needs.

We believe that technology can help us achieve these goals by making it easier for patients to communicate with their doctors, nurses, and other members of their health team.
